I grant you that Ray Palmer is enough to scuttle a man's faith in stfandom, but there are many examples of sincere pros who do care for science-fiction and fandom apart from anything they may make off of it.

The editor of this paper feels that everything he has done in fandom in the past is perfectly justified because everything he has done and accomplished he sincerely believes has been in the best interests of and for the progress of science fiction fandom.
